Many of you will know Ron Smith as the former Perth Glory and Australian Institute of Sport Coach and current Australian National Team with many roles including Technical Analysis. Ron's name in Australian football is famous for producing talents such as Mark Viduka, John Aloisi, Brett Emerton and Lucas Neill amongst many others. He also works with the Nike Chance program and recently discovered Celtic's Tom Rojic.
In July Pro Football Training were privileged to be invited to run our Skillz Clinics at La Fiamma Soccer Club in Geraldton.
PFT Street has now seen over 100 teams participate in 4v4 high quality Futsal action. Our recent Street Tournament held at Lords Sports Club in Subiaco was attended by over 1200 people.
Pro Football Training players and coaches were thrilled when Perth Glory's former England International and Liverpool Legend Robbie Fowler visited training recently at Lords Sports Club in Subiaco.

For those of you that attended our PFT launch night in 2009, we spoke about the study regarding players striving to get 10,000 hours of practice to reach their potential. After many discussions and debates we were sent this wonderful and enlightening email from Wayne Goldsmith - www.sportscoachingbrain.com
After settling into our new hotel the players woke up to a traditional Scottish morning, wet and cold. The group travelled into the City Centre of Edinburgh for some sightseeing before heading out to Heriot Watt University where Heart of Midlothian has their Training Centre.
The tour continued to the North East of England, with the squad settling in to the picturesque surroundings of Durham where our hotel was located on the banks of the River Wear overlooking Durham Cathedral.
The biggest shock to the system when disembarking at Manchester Airport was the weather, shock horror...well it was mid 20's bright sunshine and never before had there been a warmer day recorded in October! This will never last!
Over the past few months we have spoken with several players, parents and coaches who are unfortunately finding themselves in increasing difficult situations. With young players losing their love of the game through fear of losing, to parents becoming frustrated at the lack of game time their child is getting and finally the coach trying to come up with the right formula to WIN!
